Inspired by the Viral Damson Madder Bow
Hi everyone! ✨
Today we’re making a beginner-friendly crochet bow hair clip inspired by the viral Damson Madder bow. It’s simple, customizable, and perfect for adding a cute coquette touch to any outfit.
For better understanding of the stitch placement, color changes, and assembly, follow along with the video tutorial.
π‘ Tip: Use contrasting colors for the main yarn and accent rows. This helps the stitch pattern stand out beautifully and makes the textured details of the bow much more visible. It also gives the finished bow that signature Pinterest-inspired look. π✨

Crochet Sprials
This spiral detail is what gives the bow its unique look and makes it stand out.
- Make a slip knot, but leave a long yarn tail. The length of this tail will determine the length of your spiral.
- Work single crochets directly around the long yarn tail until you reach the end.
- As you crochet, the piece will naturally curl into a spiral.
π‘ Tip: The longer the yarn tail, the longer your finished spiral will be.
Assemble the Bow
- Fold the large rectangle into a bow shape.
- Pinch the center and secure with yarn.
- Wrap the small rectangle around the center and sew in place.
- Add a crochet spiral or other embellishments.
- Add a metal clip.
✨ Your crochet bow hair clip is ready!
Happy crocheting! ππ§Άπ
